📣 My Take on Meadville: Investing in Public Services

I’m continuing my series on the values that will shape my leadership on City Council.

🚓 Public safety accounts for nearly 40% of our city budget—and for good reason. If we want quality services, we need quality people.

✅ That means smart, cost-effective investments in staffing: recruiting, training, and retaining the people who keep us safe.

Programs like our public EMS service and the regional police partnership with Vernon Township prove that we can improve quality without increasing cost.

This approach doesn’t stop at public safety. I believe in smart investments across all city departments—so we get the best outcomes with the resources we have.

👷‍♀️ When safety and service thrive, so does Meadville.
